چکیده
Background: Hamstring and peroneus longus tendon auto graft has similar biomechanical strength. Peroneus is a potential in reconstructive orthopaedic procedures. There was few study evaluation of usage ACL reconstruction. We aimed to quantify the outcome donor site morbidity reconstruction using graft. Methods: Patients who suffered isolated injury were enrolled underwent trans-portal single bundle graft. Functional score (IKDC, Modified Cincinnati, Tegner-Lysholm score) assessed at pre-operative 2-years after surgery. Graft diameter measured time harvest. Thigh circumference, ankle (AOFAS FADI) serial hop test evaluate morbidities. Results: Sixty-eight patients fulfilled inclusion criteria. 8.16±0.65 mm. significant difference between pre post-operative functional IKDC, Cincinnati score. Mean AOFAS 93.98±2.95 FADI 94.80±0.56 with no decrease thigh good result. Conclusion: excellent follow up advantages larger diameter, less hypotrophy, result, function based on

The Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction with the Peroneus Longus Tendon: A Biomechanical and Clinical Evaluation of the Donor Ankle Morbidity.
BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to report on ankle and foot functions via the holistic evaluations using clinical examination, functional scores assessment and isokinetic tests after harvesting autogenous peroneus longus tendons for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction focusing on the donor site morbidity with a minimum 1-year follow-up period. MATERIAL AND METHOD The stud...
متن کاملEffect of Calcium Phosphate–Hybridized Tendon Graft in Anatomic Single-Bundle ACL Reconstruction in Goats
BACKGROUND We previously developed a novel technique using an alternate soaking process that improves tendon-bone healing by hybridizing the tendon graft with calcium phosphate (CaP). However, the effects of the CaP-hybridized tendon graft on anatomic single-bundle anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction remain unclear. PURPOSE To determine the effects of CaP-hybridized tendon grafts ...

متن کامل[Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with the peroneus longus tendon].
OBJECTIVES The aim of the study was to evaluate the results of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction using a peroneus longus tendon (PLT) autograft. METHODS The study included 29 patients (27 males, 2 females; mean age 30 years; range 21 to 39 years) who underwent ACL reconstruction using a PLT autograft and interference nail fixation. Fourteen patients (48.3%) also had partial meni...
متن کاملDouble-bundle versus single-bundle ACL reconstruction.
Surgical repair of the anterior cruciate ligament is a fairly common necessity in knee injuries, usually with good to excellent outcomes. However a successful repair and return to activities for a subpopulation of patients, 10% to 30%, remain elusive. Additionally, some athletes have arthritic changes, even with ligament repair. These issues are likely multi-factorial in nature but the debate c...
